What brought you to Kleidon & Associates?
I learned of Kleidon through two colleagues who spoke highly of the company and their work in the design community. After interviewing and consulting with some professors, I was honored to be offered an internship opportunity at Kleidon & Associates. This agency has a high reputation of professionalism and clean design. They are exactly what I was looking for in an internship.

What’s your favorite font?
Futura. More specifically, Futura Bold.

If you were a Pantone color, which color would you be?
Pantone 7625 C (dark orange-red).

What design sin makes you cringe the most?
Poor kerning and bad rags.

What social media platforms top your list right now?
Instagram. Snapchat is a close second.

What’s your secret talent?
I can recite Blues Brothers quotes on demand.

What’s a little-known fact about you?
Similar to how some kids were forced to take piano lessons, I tapped danced for 10 years.

When you were a kid, what did you think you would do when you grew up?
I always wanted to be a park ranger and don a Smokey The Bear hat.

Three things you can’t live without?
Comfortable footwear, coffee, and a comb for my hair.

What’s the most important thing you have learned in college so far?
Life moves fast, and I’m entering a very competitive field. If you’re going to be good at something, you might as well strive to be great at it.

Why should brands invest in design?
There’s a reason the graphic design profession has been around since the days of the Gutenberg Bible. Good design is crucial to any brand, and cheap design isn’t fooling anyone.

What brand or organizations would be your dream client — and why?
I’d love to collaborate and or work with Pixar. I’ve been a Toy Story kid since day one, and I don’t think this would be your average 9–5 job.

What are three things you want to learn / learn more about during your internship?
Through this internship, I’d like to learn how to work alongside clients, the challenges of operating a design agency, and get a more in-depth look into web design.
